Launch of Ready-to-wear women's Fall Collection.

Dear Purple Lovers,
A toast for the Launch of our first Ready-to-wear women's Fall Collection @ Purple Paperbag!!!
After months of hard work at the workshop our first collection is ready to Rock the city!!!!
"Art part of NATURE"
The collection puts forward a close observation of the beauty that lies in the shapes and patterns that nature creates and infuses that with the beauty that's in the stylish confidence of a woman. A woman that embodies many talents, sensibility and passion for life. The collection enriches and embellishes the seemingly ordinary adding elegance and drama.

The collection is designed for women who are in the state of comfort with themselves and dress up to impress themselves, who are aware and make a statement with their personality.

Clothes @ Purple Paperbag are made using only the best quality natural fabrics like Silk Crepes, georgettes, net and Habutai. They are adorned with high quality embroideries and embellishments to fit today's trend !!!
Perfect for a social dinner or carry it off at a wild all girlz party!!!!
All the Fans of my Blog are invited to be a part of this event, those of you who can't make it....look out for the pictures of the exhibition!!!
Untill later,
Stay Classy and Fabulous!!!

Aguri Sagimori

Dear Purple lovers,

Aguri Sagimori, japanese fashion designer, has participated in JFW for the 5th time this time around and designs some really cool stuff. The Red hot and leather make me wanna leave my work desk right now and go do something wild, It reminds me of the time when I wore a Hot red nail paint every day of the week!!! Oh! thinking bout nail paint I still have to try out this really cool nail print art that you all could do sitting at home.

1. paint your nails with any colour you like. Im going RED!!!
2. Let it dry completely
3. Place a pice of news paper and dab with rubbing Alcohol.

There you have it!!! Perfectly printed nails

If any of you try this, do post pics Id love to see... and wait for me to post my nails sooon!!

Until then, Stay Classy and fabulous !!!

Verlaine

Verlaine is very much a mystery. There is an air of film Noir in their twisting silhouettes and dark tones that explain plenty about the woman who wears Verlaine. She is sexy and understands that her sex appeal means something important. She is inspired by architecture, history and far off cultures. She wants a traditional garment - a trench coat, a cocoon jacket, a column gown - but she wants more from it. Exaggeration helps to bring her point home: she is rare, treasured and fleeting. The designers of Verlaine choose to stay anonymous. To dress a woman in a cloak of mystery, it helps to be mysterious yourself.

Plastic in Fashion.

Dear Purple Lovers,
I often keep wondering how we creating a "real with plastic". Completely ironic. Innovation has reached a point where it's increasingly difficult to distinguish between what naturally is and what isn't.
Beautiful yet unreal, plastic dreams...
My personal favourite if the 10 picture. Alexandra Chaney has done it!! playing around wt needles and fishing lines, love her imagination and how far fashion has gone!! wonder where its headed next!!!
Check it out!!!

Untill later, Stay Classy and Fabulous!!!
